What is the PTCO?

The Grandview High School Parent-Teacher-Community Organization (PTCO) is you. All parents and students, staff and faculty, and all others in our community are members of the PTCO. The PTCO is supported through the work of volunteers and donations from individuals and businesses that are committed to bringing together a strong community in support of our mission.

What is an Executive Board?

It is the officers (President, Treasurer, and Secretary etc.) of the Grandview PTCO that hold the responsibilities of finance, secretarial, volunteer committees, planning of some school events, and most importantly communication through our newsletter to the school community.

What's the Time Commitment for an Executive Board Member?

It is much less than you might have experienced in elementary or middle school

On average, we are able to keep it to no more than two hours a week (those hours may be increased during major events such as After-Prom or the Craft Fair, when the entire board helps out as much as possible)

Also, the benefits of co-positions on the board allow you to share responsibilities with someone else.  Therefore, you are allowed flexibility of time with your elected position

For more information on becoming a board member, please contact us at community@grandviewptco.org
